Welcome to the Impakt Foundation for Social Change!

Impakt Foundation is a nonprofit bridging newcomer communities and trusted organizations to simplify the integration journey into Canada. Guided by research-driven insights and a deep understanding of each individual’s path, we deliver tailored support that helps immigrants build connections and community, find employment opportunities, foster resilience, and truly belong.

We are committed to breaking barriers, fostering connections, and creating employment pathways for refugees and immigrants to thrive within a strong, supportive community.

Shelter Hub

At Impakt Foundation, we define resilience as accessing and advocating for psychological, social, cultural, and physical resources that sustain well-being in culturally meaningful ways. To foster resilience and break barriers, we navigate support systems for newcomers and collaborate with stakeholders to secure resources tailored to newcomers' cultural contexts, driven by newcomers themselves.

Family of Friends

Newcomers often highlight a sense of belonging and trusting relationships as their greatest needs—even above housing and employment. Our Family of Friends Program is designed for each refugee community, forming small networks of individuals with shared professional and cultural backgrounds. Through narrative group therapy, three-day camping trips, and opportunities to learn and connect, we help newcomers build their own family of friends.

Employment Pathways

We partner with leading businesses and social enterprises to create fair, fast opportunities for newcomers to secure meaningful jobs, from entry-level roles to professional careers. Our tailored job-specific workshops prepare newcomers for success, covering interview preparation, skill-building, and personalized feedback. Post-employment, we provide ongoing support to both employers and newcomers, fostering lasting success and seamless workplace integration.
