On June 14 we decided to honour World Refugee Day by giving a voice and platform to talented refugee artists!
Nargis Khowjazada is a multi-talented artist committed to portraying messages in response to her political and physical environment. In her home country of Afghanistan, Nargis spent time painting murals in Kabul, protesting the government while also representing the beauty of the city.
Nargis’ difficult transition to Albania and then Canada has similarly inspired her to portray heartfelt messages through the lens of art.
