TVO: Untold Stories of the Tailor Project

After surviving the Holocaust, approximately 2,500 Jewish tailors and their families migrated to Canada in 1948 and 1949 through what was known as the Garment Workers Scheme. The Tailor Project is an initiative that preserves their stories and experiences. The Agenda discusses its goals, and what lessons the post-war scheme can offer to Canada's current efforts to welcome and settle refugees.
